What does it cost to join?

How much can you earn from ironing?
Build at a pace that suits you. The examples below assume a customer order value of £55 per booking and show what remains after 15% commission. This is an illustration, not a forecast of bookings or take-home pay.

Do you find customers and send me bookings?
Yes. We promote All Ironed Out, help customers find their local service and send bookings for your agreed area to you by email and/or text. You handle collections, ironing and returns. Demand varies by area, so we do not promise a fixed number of bookings or a guaranteed income.
What am I paying for?
The £25 monthly fee supports marketing, our customer booking system, AgentZone and ongoing agent support. There is also 15% commission per completed booking. You run your own self-employed service and cover your own business costs.
What happens after I apply?
Complete your details and coverage area, then set up the £25 monthly subscription securely through Stripe. We can then review your application and confirm your setup and agreed coverage. Once your service is live, bookings in that area can be sent to you.
Am I tied into a long contract?
No. There is no fixed-term contract. You can cancel with 14 days' notice.
Is this really an ironing job I can do from home?
Yes. The ironing itself is completed from your own suitable smoke-free home working area. You collect and return customer orders within your agreed local coverage area.
Am I employed by All Ironed Out?
No. Agents are self-employed and operate their own local ironing service with support from All Ironed Out.
Do I have to work fixed hours?
No. You organise your own workload, although customer collections and returns must be completed as agreed.
Can I do this around another job?
Potentially, yes. Many people start because they want flexible additional income. You need enough time to complete accepted bookings to a high standard.
Do I need professional ironing equipment?
Not necessarily when you first start. A good quality iron and sturdy ironing board may be enough initially. Many agents invest in faster professional equipment as their workload grows.
Do I need a car?
Yes. You need suitable transport to collect and return customer ironing.
Can I choose my area?
Yes. We normally look at an area around your home and agree suitable towns, villages and postcodes with you.
How many customers will I get?
We cannot guarantee a particular number of customers or level of income. Demand varies by area and can take time to build.
Can I join if I already run an ironing business?
Yes. Existing ironing services may be able to join and use All Ironed Out to help generate additional bookings.
